Will you be able to do it again?

Have been reading the book of joshua, about how joshua manage to lead his people to the promised land that God promised to give to the people of Israel. One of the challenges Joshua faced was to actually overcome the crushing defeat at Ai. So why was it a crushing defeat, that's because Joshua had spied on Ai and the report says that 3000 warriors were enough to defeat the small army of Ai. In the end, it was the army of Ai that chased the Israelites away from the city of Ai.

Anyway the defeat was a major blow to Joshua who thought that God given Joshua the green light to purge the land of many sins. Then Joshua found out what actually gone wrong (to find out the reason please read Joshua chapter 6 verse 10). So after awhile God told him to go back to the battle field and claim the land that God will be giving to him. So Joshua with his warriors went back faithfully to the battle field and defeated Ai as God instructed.

So I'm wondering when facing a loss in competition, rejection from peers, BGR or even retrenchment from your job. Will we all be able to pick ourselves up easier without the help from God? It always hard to bounce back but it's even harder without a helping hand, a hand that's always so forgiving and faithful.

Well stand chart marathon is coming soon please pray for my safety as well as the other people whose participating in the marathon too.

(2 more days to the marathon)
